ALTER BALTICS OÜ PRIVACY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

OVERVIEW
- The Privacy Policy applies to all customers and users who are natural persons (hereinafter referred to as the ” Customer”), who purchase Alter Baltics OÜ’s (hereinafter referred to as ” Alter“) products and services, including through the E-Shop, and who visit the company’s website www.marine.ee.
- Alter reserves the right to unilaterally modify and amend the Privacy Policy. The current Privacy Policy will always be available on the company’s website.
- The Privacy Policy is an integral and integral part of Alter’s General Terms and Conditions of Sale and the E-shop Terms of Use.
PROCESSING OF CUSTOMER PERSONAL DATA
- Alter processes the personal data provided by the Client in accordance with the requirements of applicable law.
- Alter processes the Customer’s personal data for the purpose of selling Products and Services.
- The personal data processed are the data requested from the Customer at the time of the conclusion of the Contract (name and surname, delivery address, telephone number, e-mail address).
- The data controller of the customer’s personal data is Alter Baltics OÜ, with the registration code 12026341, with the address Ämma tee 70, 74206 Iru village, Harju county.
- Alter does not disclose the Customer’s personal data to third parties, except: in connection with the purchase of the Goods, to the installer (Alter uses its own employees, authorised employees) to enable the installation of the Goods on the Customer’s premises; to the carrier or courier service provider to the extent necessary for the delivery of the Goods to the Customer;
- In the cases set out in the preceding paragraphs, the Customer’s personal data will be processed exclusively for the purposes of selling the Products and Services and the processors will ensure the same level of protection of personal data as Alter.
- Alter does not process the Customer’s card data.
- When visiting the Company’s website, Alter may collect non-personally identifiable information from the Customer, such as the date and time of the website visit, information downloaded from the website, browser name and operating system, Internet service provider, and similar information. These data are processed anonymously and are used for the purpose of improving the functionality of the website.
- The customer has the right to access his or her personal data at any time and to request the correction or deletion of such data, unless otherwise provided by law.
DIRECT MARKETING AND SATISFACTION SURVEYS
- Alter may, with the consent of the Customer, use the personal data provided to send the Customer newsletters, information about promotions, campaigns and offers.
- Alter may process personal data where the processing is necessary for legitimate interests . If you have signed a binding contract with us, we may send you a customer satisfaction questionnaire at the end of the year in order to improve the quality of the product and related services we offer.
- Alter may use the Customer’s personal data and purchase statistics for profiling purposes in order to better understand the Customer’s expectations and, consequently, to provide the Customer with better goods and services. Alter does not make any legally binding decisions with respect to the Customer as a result of profiling.
- If the Customer has expressed a wish to receive Alter’s newsletters and/or personalised offers, the Customer always has the right to opt-out by sending a notification to this effect to Alter’s e-mail address marine@marine.ee.
USE OF COOKIES
- Alter uses cookies on its website. A cookie is a tiny text file that is automatically stored by the browser on the user’s device. Cookies are used to collect information about how a user uses the website with the aim of providing a better user experience.
- The following cookies are used on the website:
